What impressed me the most about Auto Experts was their honesty. Without calling in advance, I dropped off my car because the check engine light was on and within an hour the mechanic called me up with a diagnosis and a plan of action for my vehicle. He told me that my flex pipe, which is part of the exhaust pipe, needed to be replaced and encouraged me to go to a different mechanic who would charge me less for the job. He frankly told me that he could replace the entire exhaust pipe, but that it would double the cost. Also, he was cost conscious about replacing one of my oxygen sensors. He let me know that only one of the oxygen sensors needed to be replaced and encouraged me to pass along this information to the mechanic that worked on my car, even though he sent me out of his shop with a typed print out regarding the repairs needed on my car. My only complaint about Auto Experts was the $14 they charged me to replace one of my headlights. In the past I had this light changed for about half the price at NTB tire. However, I don't mind paying a little extra when I know I am getting sincere service from mechanics that don't cut corners.

I used John when my original clutch went up on my '94 Toyota Celica. He actually worked for Benchmark Motors at the time, which specializes in import vehicles/high end vehicles like BMW's and Mercedes. So, I was appreciative that he was willing to accomodate me and help me out. His pricing was very fair, he did the work quickly and it was ready on time. I would highly recommend him as a mechanic. Especially with all of the stigmas out there against finding a good one!

I have been taking my VW Jetta to him for over 5 yrs. Need to get away and don't have a place for your dog to stay? If you don't mind the drive to the Rockville MD area, Theresia is the way to go. We have been leaving our dog, Sebastian, at her house for years now when we leave town and are comforted by the fact that he will be in good hands. Her prices are impossible to beat ($15-$30 a day depending on the size of your dog). Her house is located in a very rural area of Rockville where she opens her expansive yard to the dogs she is caring for so that they get their daily exercise. We have had mixed experiences with dog boarding in Baltimore so making the drive is totally worth it.
